Dickey Law LLC was founded in 2022 by Corey E. Dickey to advise companies on middle market private M&A transactions and to provide small and medium-sized businesses with personalized, quality corporate legal services, focusing on building strong relationships and guiding clients through both material business transactions and day-to-day issues. Experience
For over a decade, I have counseled clients in mergers and acquisitions, capital structure and equity investments, general corporate and governance matters, and other complex business transactions, principally in the middle market. My approach has consistently been practical and personalized, advising private equity funds (including their portfolio companies), strategics, and founders through acquisitions, divestitures, and other substantial transactions. I have advised on hundreds of M&A transactions, serving as lead counsel with responsibility for all aspects of acquisitions and divestitures, including structuring, documentation, and negotiation, with oversight of multiple discipline areas, including real estate, environmental, labor and benefits, intellectual property, and regulatory.

My approach to client service is to focus on identifying each client’s specific concerns, priorities, and objectives, and pursuing results that are consistent with those objectives and priorities. I have always found that the first step to a successful client relationship is to build trust and rapport at the outset by establishing effective communication channels and discussing the client’s goals in each matter, and then growing the relationship through consistent performance to meet client needs and expectations.
